Anthony Ridge

Anthony graduated in 2013 from the University of Cambridge. He spent two years in clinical practice before completing and internship as a researcher in the House of Lords working closely with vet and crossbench peer Lord Trees. In 2017 he joined the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) as a Senior Veterinary Inspector. He is a council member of the British Veterinary Association (Regional Representative for London) as well as a Council member of the Association of Government Veterinarians and Central Veterinary Society. Anthony is interested in policy and in promoting the roles of veterinarians in society particularly in relation to animal welfare, environmental sustainability and One Health.
